The application of machine perfusion devices in liver and kidney transplantation offers a unique opportunity to deliver targeted therapies to individual organs. This webinar will include two focused presentations in the field of kidney transplantation followed by the clinical application of therapies during liver machine perfusion.

• The first presentation will describe the application of novel treatments that target Cytomegalovirus (CMV) to reduce the risk of viraemia post-transplant.
• The second will focus on a strategy to increase the kidney donor pool for rare blood types.
• The third will describe the use of fibrinolysis during liver normothermic machine perfusion (NMP) to reduce the incidence of ischaemic cholangiopathy.
