Transplantoux International ‘Time to Move’ Symposium 2026
Friday 6 and Saturday 7 February 2026
MARIA-THERESIACOLLEGE (MTC1) Leuven, BELGIUM
This annual event organized by KU LEUVEN brings together patients, clinicians and academics to explore the importance of physical activity, nutrition and psychosocial support in the management of chronic organ disease and organ transplantation.
Since 2018, we have created a unique, patient-centric environment that prioritizes collaboration between all stakeholders.
Academic lectures
Academic lectures on post-transplant exercise and psychosocial aspects provide important insights into patient recovery. Physical activity is crucial for both physical and mental health. The emotional consequences of transplantation are also discussed, as well as the necessary support for patients. These lectures are essential for healthcare providers to provide better care and insights.
Patient Testimonials
Discover in these sessions the valuable experiences of patients who share their stories about movement as medicine. Here the psychosocial aspects are highlighted, as well as the challenges that have been overcome on the way to a better balance. These testimonies offer important insights into the impact of movement on both physical and mental well-being. Be inspired by their experiences and the possibilities that movement brings.
