Expression of Interest for Chair of RINTAG
The role of Chair of the Research, Innovation and Novel Technologies Advisory Group.
Closing date for expressions of interest is Sunday 23rd February.
As you know, the post is currently held by Gabriel Oniscu who will reach the end of his tenure in June 2020. He has made major contributions to the improvement of the ODT Research approvals pathway and the development of an allocation scheme for research organs. I would like to take this opportunity to thank him for his exemplary service.
We are now looking to reappoint the Chair of this Advisory Group and are seeking nominations from interested parties. Applicants should be clinicians of Consultant status (or equivalent), be active in the field of transplantation in the UK and have the support of their peers. The appointment will be for an initial period of three years with the possibility of a second and final term of two years.
Applications should be less than two pages, include a brief CV and outline of work proposed for the next three years and be submitted to Heather Crocombe at Heather.Crocombe@nhsbt.nhs.uk by Sunday 23 February. Interviews dates are scheduled for 24/25 March at the West End Donor Centre in London.

2) If successful in your application, the Advisory Group Chair Role must form part your job plan with your Trust/ Hospital Board.
