Historically the The British Transplantation Society has explored issues surrounding training and education in transplantation.

The BTS recognises the work of young doctors/scientists with prestigious awards and continues to help in the guidance and development of best practice.

Here you will find past and present winners of the The Medawar Medal which is presented each year at the British Transplantation Society Annual Congress and The Roy Calne Award.
