NHSBT – Expressions of Interest for the role of Chair of the Kidney Advisory Group – Paediatric Sub Group

NHSBT are seeking nominations for the Chair of the Kidney Advisory Group – Paediatric Sub Group.

They are now looking to re-appoint the Chair of this Advisory Group and are seeking nominations from interested parties. Applicants should be clinicians of consultant status (or equivalent), be active in the field of Paediatric kidney transplantation in the UK and have support of their peers. The appointment will be for an initial period of three years with the possibility of a second and final term of two years. NHSBT will remunerate to the tune of 0.5 PAs for the duration of the appointment.

Applications should be less than two pages, include a brief CV and outline of work proposed for the next three years and submitted to Sam Tomkings at sam.tomkings@nhsbt.nhs.uk by 18/10/2021. Interviews will take place on 11/11/2021.The successful appointee will be expected to take on the role from 1st January 2022 onwards.

1)  NHSBT do not pay excellence awards (National or Local) as part of PA payment for Advisory Group Chair Roles

2)  If successful in your application, the Advisory Group Chair Role must form part your job plan with your Trust/ Hospital Board.
