It marks another milestone in the history of organ transplant services and will help improve the experience for patients and clinical teams.

Many thanks to all those who participated in meetings and workshops, provided written evidence, responded to surveys and provided information – often with short notice – to inform the work of the OUG.

The Department of Health and Social Care is in the process of establishing an Implementation Oversight Group, to bring together all the stakeholders with a role in delivering the recommendations, which is where the hard work will really begin..
