The BTS is delighted to put together a webinar to address the challenges of the Surgical Curriculum for transplantation in the United Kingdom. The webinar is aimed at trainees, trainers and Training Program Directors to address some of the issues raised by both the new curriculum, organ specific procedure requirements, Multiple Consultant Reports, Generic Professional Capabilities etc.

The emphasis of the webinars will be on practical issues, solutions and address the following burning questions:

BTS Winter Ethics Symposium 2021




Public good in the pandemic

This year’s British Transplantation Society Winter Ethics Symposium, entitled ‘Public Good in the Pandemic’ will take place on Thursday 25 November at the Wellcome Trust in London, and also online for those who will not be able to attend in person.

The symposium will explore decision-making during the pandemic, and examine the impact of local and national decisions on transplantation and the wider public good. The symposium will close with the Hoffenberg Memorial Lecture, which will be given by Professor Stephen Powis, National Medical Director of NHS England and Professor of Renal Medicine at University College London.
