New Position: Associate Medical Director Research and Development, NHSBT
NHSBT are seeking an Associate Medical Director Research and Development
Professor John Forsythe, Medical Director – (OTDT) writes;
As you will be aware, I reviewed the OTDT Medical Team Structure in November 2020 as part of the restructuring of NHSBT. As a result, we have managed to install four senior clinicians to the Associate Medical Director roles and an Associate Director role.
An additional and new post, Associate Medical Director – Research and Development role has now been approved. This new role within OTDT Clinical team provides a unique opportunity to provide clinical leadership in organ donation and transplantation Research and Development (R&D) at a UK level. I would encourage applications from clinicians working within the field of transplantation research who have held or currently hold a leadership role. The attached job description and person specification provides more detail with regards to the roles and responsibilities of the post holder.
